The ECC was recognized for its invaluable contribution to PMAP-CDO in achieving its goals and plans in 2020 and made a difference to the success of the organization. The ECC is one of the presidential awardees in the government sector which include, among others, the LGU of CDO, Technical Skills and Development Authority (TESDA), Department of Labor and Employment – Regional Office No. X (DOLE-RO X), Social Security System (SSS), Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth), Home Development and Mutual Fund (HDMF) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

The partnership between ECC and PMAP-CDO started on June 14, 2019 during its 141st General Membership Meeting which was held at Limketkai Luxe Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City, where SSS, Philhealth, Pag-Ibig and ECC were invited to discuss their program benefits and services to the 104 PMAP-CDO officers and members.

“This award will serve as inspiration for us to reach out to our covered workers or employees despite the challenges brought about by the pandemic,” said ECC Executive Director Stella Zipagan-Banawis. “Let us continue to strengthen our partnership and rest assured that we remain committed in reaching to as many organizations as possible to inform their members that there is an ECC ready to help them in event of work-related contingencies,” added Banawis.

On December 2, 2020 ECC also received a Certificate of Recognition from PMAP Pangasinan Chapter during its General Membership Meeting in Dagupan City, for its constant support to the organization.
