1 – Accountant II

Employment Status: Contract of Service

Salary Grade: 16

Monthly Salary: PHP 33,584

Education: BS in Accountancy

Experience: No experience required but relevant experience is a plus

Training: Relative to course

Eligibility: R.A. 1080

Place of Assignment: ECC Head Office – Makati

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  1. Checks and reviews disbursement vouchers including payrolls and remittances to various government agencies;
  2. Prepares bank reconciliation statement including preparation of the list of outstanding checks;
  3. Prepares Journal of Collection and Deposit including Journal Entry Voucher (JEV);
  4. Prepares and submits monthly journal entries in the General Journal;
  5. Prepares JEVs of each transaction in the General Journal;
  6. Prepares Financial Statement – Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Financial Performance, Statement of Changes in Equity and Cash Flow Statement;
  7. Prepares financial reports as may be required by DOLE, COA, GCG and Transparency Seal postings;
  8. Performs related functions as maybe assigned from time to time.
