The Employees’ Compensation Commission (ECC) will hold a free Employees’ Compensation Program (ECP) Advocacy Seminar at Ouan’s the farm resort in Lucena City, on October 25, 2016 to increase awareness on the EC Program.

Among the topics to be discussed are the three major components of the EC Program namely – prevention, compensation and rehabilitation services. It will also highlight the recent program reforms of the ECC anchored on the “3Es”- Equalize, Enhance and Expand strategy in response to the challenges facing the EC Program.

Participants will come from various private companies and government agencies, particularly human resource officers, employers, company representatives and labor union officers from Lucena City and nearby towns.

In addition, members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine National Police, Bureau of Jail Management & Penology, Philippine Navy and Philippine Air Force are also invited to attend this activity.

A press conference in coordination with the Philippine Information Agency Region 4 on October 24, 2016, shall be conducted in the same venue to promote the EC Program thru quad-media in Reg. 4A – Lucena City.

The Employees’ Compensation Program is designed to provide workers and their dependents with income benefits, medical, and other benefits in the event of work-related sickness, injury or death.
