The Employees’ Compensation Commission (ECC), an attached agency of the Department  of Labor and Employment (DOLE),  will hold a seminar on  Employees’ Compensation Program (ECP) and  DOLE skills and livelihood training for  at least 100 employers,  human resource managers and   union representatives.  The seminar will be held at Marco Polo Hotel in Davao City on 29, June 2012 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The event is part of nationwide campaign of DOLE to increase awareness on the ECP and DOLE programs and services. DOLE Secretary Rosalinda Dimapilis-Baldoz said it will be aimed at increasing awareness on the EC Program and strengthening connectivity among the ECC, the DOLE Regional Office and the private sector for a synchronized implementation of the DOLE programs and services.

The seminar will be conducted by ECC representatives who will lecture on the three aspects of the EC Program, to wit;   the prevention, the compensation and the rehabilitation services.  A DOLE representative will explain the various livelihood programs and services of the DOLE under the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program.
