The Employees’ Compensation Commission, in coordination with the Department of Labor and Employment, will hold a one-day, free of charge, advocacy seminar on the Employees’ Compensation Program at Dottie’s Place Hotel and Restaurant in Butuan City, on September 29, 2016.

The seminar aims to increase awareness on the three major components of the EC Program namely – prevention, compensation and rehabilitation services. It will also discuss the recent program reforms of the ECC anchored on the “3Es”- Equalize, Enhance and Expand strategy in response to the challenges facing the EC Program.

Participants will come from various private companies and government agencies particularly human resource officers, employers, company representatives and labor union officers.

In addition, members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine National Police, Bureau of Jail Management & Penology, Philippine Navy and Philippine Air Force are also invited to attend this activity.

A press conference in coordination with the Philippine Information Agency on September 28, 2016, shall be conducted in the same hotel to promote the ECP thru quad-media in CARAGA.
