In celebration of its 49th founding anniversary, personnel of the Employees’ Compensation Commission nationwide underwent an Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) Reorientation and Citizen’s Charter workshop to enhance their capabilities and to improve working relationships with both internal and external clients.

Driven by its vision to be a nationally recognized social insurance government institution that protects all workers through effective programs and services by 2025, the employees underwent the said training in March, 2024. Resource persons from the ARTA were invited to lecture and speak about improving processes within the ECC so clients are better served. They first reoriented the employees on why ARTA was created and what it was for. They explained that the agency is responsible for enforcing Republic Act No. 11032 or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018. The goal of which is to reduce red tape in all government agencies so services can be delivered efficiently and effectively in the least possible time.

The ARTA team delved into the Citizen’s Charter of the ECC and looked into the processes and services that the ECC needed to improve on.

Overall, the ECC personnel, with the help of ARTA, were able to improve its Citizen’s Charter so that their most valued clients will henceforth experience seamless interaction and provide the best customer service they can provide for their most valued customer: The Filipino worker.
