Iarah Domingo, the newly appointed administrative officer of the Employees’ Compensation Commission Regional Extension Unit 2 (ECC REU 2), recently conducted a series of courtesy visits to key partner hospitals in the region.
These visits aimed to strengthen collaborative efforts and foster closer ties between the ECC and its healthcare partners in providing quality services to persons with work-related disabilities (PWRDs).
Accompanied by a team from ECC REU 2, Domingo visited three prominent healthcare facilities, namely: Dr. Domingo S. De Leon General Hospital in Tuguegarao City; De Vera Medical Center Incorporated in Santiago City, and Cauayan Multi-Specialty Clinic in Cauayan City.
Dr. Sylvan Lorenzo, the head of the rehabilitation department at the said hospitals, warmly welcomed Domingo and her team. Dr. Lorenzo reiterated the hospitals’ dedication to upholding the highest standards of patient care and pledged continued support to ECC initiatives in the region.
“Expect that we will gladly continue to extend our help in providing quality medical and rehabilitation services to our PWRDs in the region. Kasangga niyo kami sa pagtulong sa mga manggagawang Filipino.”.
Domingo affirmed ECC REU 2’s commitment to enhance partnerships with healthcare institutions and further streamline the processes to better serve the needs of beneficiaries.
She emphasized the significance of maintaining open lines of communication and cooperation to achieve shared goals in promoting the well-being of PWRDs.
The courtesy visits concluded with fruitful discussions and exchanges of insights on potential areas for collaboration and improvement. Domingo expressed optimism about the future of ECC’s partnership with the hospitals and looked forward to continued cooperation in advancing the welfare of ECC PWRDs in Region 2.
