In its continuous pursuit to improve its human capital, the Employees’ Compensation Commission conducted a two-day training workshop entitled “Planning and Delivering Public Service with Impact” on March 18-19, 2019 at the ECC Multi-Purpose Hall, Makati City.

“The training was timely and realistic. It made us revisit our values and performance in every activities and ideas presented,” said Stella Obice, Regional Officer of Cagayan De Oro City.

The training aimed to equip the regional officers of the ECC with the necessary knowledge on how to effectively and efficiently deliver the programs and services of the Commission. The same seminar was conducted last December 2018 for the central office employees.

Topics discussed include the application and implication of planning, networking, delegation and coaching processes in the ECC operations. Various instruments in service improvement like the utilization of Performance Results Description and Technology of Participation were also integrated in the training-workshop.

“We always believe that our human resource is the most important capital that we have in this organization. We can only deliver our mission and vision if we have a well-honed internal workforce with the same values and commitment in achieving our goals,” said ECC Executive Director Stella Z. Banawis.
