“We are very grateful to the management of the Employees’ Compensation Commission (ECC) for organizing this seminar. It widened our perspective about government service and the importance of going beyond the basics of public service,” said Riza Mae Daguplo, ECC Planning Officer III.

The ECC, in its primary goal to provide continuous education and skills training to further empower its staff, organized a training on Planning and Delivering Public Service with Impact on October 29-30, 2018 at the ECC Multi-purpose Hall.

The training was facilitated by Rene SL. Resurreccion, founder of the Passion for Perfection, a company that invents business and development games and implements experiential attitude-change programs.

The two-day training provided the participants with the right attitudes, skills, and knowledge to plan, implement, delegate, coach, and monitor results to ensure high impact results for the organization.

Resureccion discussed the beauty and importance of the planning process using the Technology of Participation (TOP) model and Performance Results Description (PRD) and on how it can be applied at the ECC.

During the training, participants also reviewed its corporate values and identified them as professionalism, compassion, integrity, dedication, efficiency, dynamism and innovation.

According to ECC Executive Director Stella Zipagan-Banawis, these are the values an ideal ECC employee must possess in order to efficiently and effectively deliver public service with excellence and impact.

“I am happy to see the enthusiasm of everyone to learn more about how to deliver public service with impact. I hope that the seminar today inspired each one of you to do more. Let us all work together to better serve our clients,” said Banawis.
