Employees’ Compensation Commission Regional Extension Unit 4B (ECC-REU 4B) Information Officer II Ruth B. Calinao discussed the EC Program with the graduating students of Baco Community College in Baco, Oriental Mindoro on May 03, 2023, upon the invitation of the provincial Public Employment Service Office (PESO).

The Labor Education for Graduating Students (LEGS) aims to educate graduate students on the benefits and services that ECC provides to workers in the event of work-related sickness, injury, or death.

ECC hopes to inspire graduating students to become advocates for workers’ rights and to help spread awareness about the importance of workplace safety.

We are honored to have been invited by PPESO to participate in this event,” said ECC OIC-Executive Director Jose Maria S. Batino. “We believe that educating graduating students on the services and benefits provided by the ECC is crucial in ensuring that workers are protected and empowered in the workplace.
