Panabo City – The Employees’ Compensation Commission 11 received a plaque of recognition from Panabo Polymedic Hospital, Inc. during the celebration of its 25th Founding Anniversary held at Apo View Hotel, Davao City on 23 February 2020.

ECC 11 Administrative Officer Franscheline Orvette D. Loayon represented ECC Executive Director Stella Zipagan-Banawis during the awarding ceremonies.  In her speech, Loayon highlighted the contribution of the partnership with Panabo Polymedic Hospital in the realization of ECC’s mission to the Filipinos. “Our partnership has reaped significant benefits for the EC beneficiaries who are residents in the province of Davao Del Norte. It afforded them both comfort and accessibility to EC Programs,” she said.

Since 2015, Panabo Polymedic Hospital, Inc. and Employees’ Compensation Commission have been partners in providing rehabilitation services for the beneficiaries of EC Programs in Davao del Norte. The partnership has served 25 EC beneficiaries who were granted both free physical therapy and prostheses which costs around 2.2 million.

Dr. Alfonso L. Bitoy, President of the Hospital, thanked the Employees’ Compensation Commission for its valuable contribution and continuous commitment to the hospital. He said that, “ECC has been an instrumental partner of the hospital as it is indicative of the quality of service that we offer. Our partnership produced an impression to the public that foremost of our goals is bringing excellent medical services to all our stakeholders.”

Aside from Panabo Polymedic Hospital, Inc, the Employees’ Compensation Commission has also partnered with Southern Philipines Medical Center (SPMC) and Mindanao Orthopedic Sports and Rehabilitation Center, Inc. (MOSARC) in order to provide accessible free rehabilitation services for the beneficiaries of the EC Program.
