BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 20-12-33
Adopting the DBM-Approved CY2020 Corporate Operating Budget as the Interim Corporate Operating Budget of the Employees’ Compensation Commission and Occupational Safety and Health Center for CY2021
WHEREAS, the Corporate Operating Budget (COB) for the Employees’ Compensation Commission (ECC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Center for Calendar Year (CY) 2021 is yet to be approved by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM);
WHEREAS, to ensure the unimpeded operations of the Commission and the Center, the Secretariat has requested for authority to utilize the DBM- approved CY 2020 COB as the interim corporate operating budget of the ECC and OSHC for the early months of CY 2021 or until the proposed CY 2021 COB is approved by the DBM;
WHEREAS, the Commission found the proposal in order subject to the condition that utilization under the interim COB would only be up to the time the DBM shall have approved the proposed COB for CY 2021;
NOW THEREFORE, ON MOTION DULY MADE AND SECONDED,
This Commission RESOLVES AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to approve the adoption of the DBM-approved COB for 2020 as the interim corporate budget of the Employees’ Compensation Commission and Occupational Safety and Health Center for the early months of CY 2021 or until the proposed CY 2021 COB for both agencies is approved by the DBM;
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Board Resolution be immediately transmitted to aii concerned institutions, agencies or parties for their information and appropriate action.
