  3. Conveys relevant and logical information through letters and other forms of written communication within the organization

JOURNALISTIC WRITING (Basic)

            Ability to effectively gather news, conduct interactive interviews, write news/stories, and disseminate important news, information and updates to enhance the public image of ECC.

  1. a) Drafts articles using the newswriting basics 5Ws and 1H (Who, What, When, Where,    …..      Why and How)

MEDIA AND PUBLIC RELATIONS (Basic)

               Ability to promote ECC to various public and media outlets through various means of communication.

  1. Recognizes the desired promotional media mileage based on the communications strategies and plans of ECC
  2. Provides final proof of media materials and oversees process handovers to distribution
  3. Interacts with press and mass media practitioners

MESSAGE DEVELOPMENT AND DELIVERY (Basic)

               Ability to strategically develop messages for various audiences and effectively deliver them by evaluating the most appropriate media channel/s for the particular needs of its target audience.

  1. Knowledge of the production, communication and dissemination of information and ideas via written, oral, electronic, and visual media
  2. Analyzes information needs, develops an information plan and determines appropriate communications materials to meet these needs

PRESENTING AND SPEAKING SKILLS (Basic)

            Ability to deliver presentation/speaking engagement to varied audiences in public or within the organization by effectively communicating topic contents, concepts, knowledge, and information through verbal communication.

  1. Is able to check alignment of development and design of presentation materials to selected topic

TRAINING PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION (Basic)

            Ability to promote individual and organizational development through planning, designing, and managing employee development and training programs/services.

  1. Provides support in preparing training materials and handouts, equipment and supplies making sure that logistical and other physical requirements are well prepared prior to training conduct
  2. Keeps track of training records and inventory in organized manner
  3. Generates periodic report of training, seminars, workshops, forum and conferences attended by ECC officials or employees
  4. Prepares and arranges for cash/fund needed for internal and external training as well as travel arrangement and other details as appropriate
