Iloilo City – The Employees’ Compensation Commission (ECC), represented by Deputy Executive Director Atty. Jonathan T. Villasoto, shared ECC’s benefits and reforms on policies and governance to the participants of the recently concluded seminar entitled “In Focus”: A Lecture Forum on Administrative Reforms and Innovations in the Present Philippines on March 9, 2019.

The seminar was facilitated by the Central Philippine University-School of Graduate Studies, through the Administrative Reforms and Innovation course, in partnership with the Center for Local Governance and Indigenous People Studies (CLGIPS).

Participants were 130 Doctors and Masters of management professionals of the said university. Present also in the said event was the Vice President for Academic Affairs of the Central University and the Dean of the School of Graduate Studies together with a visiting professor from China.

One of the topics included was the Philippine Employees’ Compensation’s processes, policies and governance in relation with its implication on policy reforms and academic developments for management professionals.

“The ECC is continuously transforming its benefits and services thru the development of governance and policies, thus, promoting and advancing the welfare of our persons with work-related disabilities (PWRDs). Our enhanced, equalized and expanded benefits will show not only our reform efforts but also our strict observance and dedication with our mandate as public servants,” said Villasoto.

Villasoto thanked the members of the working committee and the CP-School of Graduate Studies in considering the Employees’ Compensation Program as one of the topics for the said activity.
