In pursuit of maintaining the continuous delivery of high-quality and timely public services, the Employees’ Compensation Commission conducted its annual MidYear Planning Assessment (MYPA) from July 13 to 14, 2023 at the Seda Hotel in Bonifacio Global City.
Participants in the activity included members of the Executive Committee, as well as representatives from the Internal Audit Unit and the Office of the Board Secretary. The purpose of the MYPA is to deliberate on concerns and matters related to the implementation of this year’s programs and projects. The ultimate goal was to pinpoint recommended actions and solutions to issues identified.
ECC’s Officer-in-Charge Executive Director, Engr. Jose Maria Batino, conveyed his appreciation and support to the attendees. He also underscored the importance of recognizing that despite the progress made during the first half of the year, there remains a considerable amount of work to be accomplished.
Batino remarked, “I extend my gratitude to everyone for their diligent efforts and unwavering commitment. Let us not lose sight of the fundamental purpose that drives us within the government service—to serve and protect the public, particularly our clients, the Filipino workers.”
On the subsequent day of the MYPA, the participants were divided into smaller groups and engaged in workshops aimed at identifying new strategies and programs. These innovations are intended to further enhance the implementation of the EC Program.
