The Employees’ Compensation Commission’s (ECC’s) information team, along with its Executive Director, Stella Z. Banawis, heads to Tuguegarao City to conduct an Employees’ Compensation Program (ECP) advocacy seminar on August 1, 2013 at Hotel Roma.

This activity is a collaboration of the efforts of ECC and DOLE Regional Office 2, to provide awareness on the ECP and the various programs of the DOLE Region 2.

The ECC Team will discuss the three main components of the EC Program; Prevention, Compensation, and Rehabilitation services. The one-day seminar also includes a presentation of the various livelihood and skills programs implemented by DOLE, which will be presented by a representative of DOLE Region 2.

The participants will be welcomed by the DOLE RO2 Regional Director, Atty. Sixto T. Rodriguez. While, the opening remarks will given by ECC Executive Director Banawis.

A day prior to said activity, on July 31, 2013, a press conference will be held for the media practitioners, with the end in view of soliciting press releases and media mileage to promote the Employees’ Compensation Program in the region. This event is organized by the Public Information Agency of Region 2.

More than a hundred participants, composed of HR officers, union representatives and employers from various companies in Tuguegarao City and nearby provinces are expected to attend.
