KORONADAL CITY—The Employees Compensation Commission Regional Extension Unit No. 12 (ECC-REU 12) recently acknowledged the efforts of its program partners in bringing Employees’ Compensation Program (ECP) closer to the Filipino workers.
Bombo Radyo Koronadal and The Doctors’ Clinic and Hospital both received a plaque of appreciation from ECC for their support on the ECP information dissemination campaign and in the implementation of its programs and services.
As one of the most active media partners of ECC REU 12, Bombo Radyo Koronadal served as a medium for the promotion of ECP programs and services for region 12 employers and employees.
“ECC is very glad that we could disseminate our program for free through Bombo Radyo,” ECC Executive Director Stella Zipagan-Banawis said.
The Doctors’ Clinic and Hospital, Inc. (DCHI) is ECC’s partner for rehabilitation services under the KaGaBay or Katulong at Gabay sa Manggagawang May Kapansanan or KaGabay Program. Under the said program, persons with work-related disability with approved EC claims are referred to DCHI for free physical or occupational therapy.
“The hospital is really happy having ECC as partner in rehabilitation services because it provides free rehabilitation services for the employees who suffered injuries caused by work-related accident,” April Latada, DHCI’s Rehabilitation Services Chief, said.
“ECC REU 12 will continue to reach out to employers and employees in the region and deliver the basic ECP service and benefits for the victims of work-related contingencies with the help of its program partners in the region. Without their support, we will not be able to fulfill our mandate of providing meaningful and appropriate compensation to PWRDs,” Banawis said.
